Coolest wide-leg trousers ever. The picture hardly does them justice

Halfway.
I can't believe the summer is halfway over. Its such a different feel than last summer, I cant decide if its a good or bad thing. Some aspects I adore more than last year, while some things really make me miss the ol' TX. (and considering the awful things I say about Texas, this really proves a point) The past two weeks have been getting rough on the job-hunt. While it's only been a few weeks, the time is quickly approaching for me to make some decisions for the future. Job? Another internship? Multiple internships? NY? TX? Mom's couch? yuck.
On a lighter note, fun has been had despite my constant worries about the future. Discovered a wonderful spot called Solas that has amazing sangria and a convenient happy hour. We've frequented this place many times already and it certainly bares some resemblance to our beloved Bar PM back in Lubbock.
Friday night after happy-houring, we headed to the meat-packing district to find some place new to go, and were fortunately intercepted by a classic club promotor. "Mike" quickly pulled us into Tenjune and sat us down to his table complete with bottle service. Needless to say we devoured way too many drinks quite effortlessly. At some point we left.... that's about all we know.
During the recovery period the next morning/day, Kris and I had some reasonably legit mexican food at El Ranchito Del Agave. Around 6 pm when I felt like my usual self again, the left-overs were quite delicious. Went to see a very cool band play at The Living Room later in the night, Emily Zuzik specifically. She was wonderful, but we left soon after her set was over. Very cool venue nonetheless.
We hopped around to a couple other places after that. One club called Libation was the worst of the worst. Most awkward crowd we could have been around. Should've seen this coming after watching the website's intro video of poorly-dressed teens dancing against a wall. Leaving immediately after one drink, we went into some hole-in-the-wall marked with only a broken neon sign reading "BAR". It ended up being our favorite place of the night. I've come to love small little places like this.
Now if someone could hunt me down a knock-pff of these pups other than the awkward Jeffrey Campbell attempt, It could really perk up my general malaise.

I need.
PS. My camera broke. No more pictures until I snag them from other people.

A real post with actual words, but not many
Can't imagine being any busier.
I clocked 49 hours of intern duties this week, so FB, calls home, and replying to texts in a timely manner have not topped my priority list. Its hard to believe it has only been two weeks, eight more to go.
Just one of many $7,000+ purses a bored Bergdorf's employee let us play with.
His name is Romeo. The purse..... Not the employee.
I've met my match
